After navigating the flurry of end-of-term big finishes like beach days, school tours, sports days, mini leagues, music recitals and everything else in between, families can finally enjoy the open schedule that comes with the summer break.
While some look forward to two weeks in the Spanish sun or camping in France, others may be lucky enough to spend time in the countryside, returning to lazy days and unstructured free time of school holidays past.
